Bridge into the Light

A seed fell from a high cliff

to the lowest ground,

where it grew into a seedling.

It grew even bigger,

big enough to become a bridge,

leading back up to the top of the mountain

from which it fell.


Now multitudes of people

walk over the giant cherry blossom tree

to view the dawn.


The tree can now see the meaning of its growth,

and so can you.


Bridge into the light.



<빛을 향한 다리가 되길>



어느 씨앗이 높은 절벽에서 떨어져

가장 낮은 땅에 도달해 싹을 틔웠다.



그 싹은 자라고 또 자라서

자기가 원래 있던 그 산의 정상까지

쭉 이어질 수 있을 만큼

커다란 다리가 되었다.



이제는 많은 이들이

산 정상의 새벽빛을 보러

그 거인과 같이 큰

벚꽃나무 다리로 오른다.



그 나무는 자신이 성장한 의미를 찾게 되었는데,

당신도 그 의미를 곧 찾게 될지도 모른다.
